Is this a true 4-season tent?
Yes. The Zeta 1 Expedition Tent was engineered specifically for sub-zero temperatures and sustained high-wind exposure. With mesh doors and 6 vents, this can also be used in warmer conditions. The silver mylar actually helps to keep the interior cooler in the summer, and the inner tent's "blackout" feature will help you sleep through longer daylight times of year.
Is it suitable for extended hunting or trapping base camps?
Yes. Its geodesic structure, lower weight, and thermal lining make it well-suited for multi-day winter deployment in remote environments.
How does the silver mylar lining improve warmth?
The reflective interior surface reduces radiant heat loss by directing body or stove heat back inward. This improves heat retention during extreme sub-zero conditions.
How difficult is setup?
The geodesic structure increases stability through multiple pole intersections. While more robust than lightweight 3-season tents, it is designed for efficient field deployment.
What is your return and warranty policy?
We offer 30-day returns on unused products and a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. If you have a problem, we'll do our best to resolve. You are the most important part of our business.
Is this tent overbuilt for mild-climates?
This tent was designed for severe winter conditions. For moderate environments, lighter alternatives may be more appropriate. However, the Zeta is acceptable to use in all 4-seasons.
